Nicky is a Dietitian and Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist who has worked with athletes of all ages and abilities across a wide variety of sports since the early 1990s. She is passionate about enabling athletes to achieve their goals by developing informed and personal nutritional strategies and using behaviour change techniques.

Education & Qualifications
Nicky is a Dietitian and Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist with over 30 years of experience as a specialist practitioner in diet and nutrition for sport and physical activity. She is currently managing the implementation of behaviour change programmes in public health but continues to work in sport as a Consultant for the Derbyshire Institute of Sport. She is well known for her many years working with players and families at Nottingham Forest Football Club and high-performance athletes of all ages across a wide variety of professional and Olympic sports. Nicky remains affiliated to the University of Nottingham as an Honorary Assistant Professor teaching on sport, health promotion, behaviour change and lifestyle interventions and remains an active member of the BDA. She cares deeply about setting and maintaining standards of professional practice, actively promoting SENr and offering support and guidance to those interested in a career in sport and exercise nutrition.
